Fixed a bug where some friend room rules would switch off when a GP completed, when they weren't supposed to. Fixed a bug where it was not actually possible to form new CTWWs without using the friend room feature. Yeah, really. We didn't notice that for 3 days because so many people were trying the new feature so it looked like everything was normal. Hopefully fixed a bug where starting a Worldwide VS from a friend room would disable the Mii Heads on the Minimap setting.

Patched several exploits brought to our attention by Star, and altered a bunch of behind the scenes stuff. In addition, some new friend room modes have been added to CTGP. These were ready before the security update and so are being included too.

This means you can gather a crew of racers together, and then open up your room to the public for additional players to join at their leisure. More features are planned for friend rooms, but there wasn't time to complete them for now. Malicious players abused this bug to submit cheated times to the leaderboards, which is the reason why the leaderboards were not accepting runs for the past week. This is not the major security update that we've been wanting to make, but a stop-gap one designed to make the leaderboards accessible once more.

A toggle has been added to page 2 of settings to determine how the new frameskip feature should work. If set to Variable, the game will always try to recover to 60fps no matter what. Modes that were originally forced to 30fps by CTGP will now run at 60, but with frameskip. If set to Consistent, the game will try to avoid frameskipping in favour of a constant framerate, so if the game starts to lag regularly, it will transition to 30fps mode and stay there.

Modes that CTGP set to 30fps before will still be set to 30fps. Fixed a bug where cancelling game launch at inopportune moments would prevent the game from launching again and channel from exiting properly. Requires the channel update below to work.
