Motoyasu Kitamura is summoned to another world to serve as the Spear Hero, but something eventually manages to kill him. When he dies Motoyasu suddenly finds himself back on the day he was first summoned to the new world—without losing any of his power! It was this same Takt, along with his disdainful attitude, that ultimately caused the death of Atla in the battle against the Phoenix.
Fueled by rage, Naofumi tries to fight Takt, but Takt steals the shield that Naofumi thought was permanently attached to his arm.
With his defenses weakened, Naofumi suffers a critical injury and finds himself in a mysterious, unfamiliar world. There, he finds a reassuring ally waiting for him. But once again, Naofumi is forced to make an impossibly difficult decision.
But actually, I couldn't say I minded. Church of the Three Heroes vs. Four Holy Heroes! Can Naofumi protect Raphtalia, Filo, and the world? What is the mysterious high priest aiming at? One night, one of the orphans under Mamoru's care comes to find Naofumi. The child proceeds to lead him to a chamber below Siltran Castle. The action continues in the twenty-first volume of this still rising otherworld fantasy! But after being fatally injured in battle, Motoyasu wakes up yet again in the exact circumstances of when he was first summoned.
